Welcome to The Star Inn, Lingfield. By accessing or using our website, making a booking, placing an order or purchasing a gift card, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. Please read them carefully.

The Star Inn, Lingfield is a traditional country pub offering food, drinks, accommodation, takeaway services, online ordering and event bookings.

By using our website, you agree to:

Provide accurate information when making bookings or purchases.

3. Food & Drink Menus
Whilst every effort is made to ensure menus, descriptions and prices are accurate:
Menus are subject to seasonal availability.
Prices may change without notice.
Certain dishes may occasionally be unavailable.
Images are for illustration purposes only.
Allergen information is available upon request. Guests with allergies or dietary requirements must inform a team member before ordering.
4. Table Bookings
Reservations are subject to availability.
For larger groups, we may request:
A deposit
A pre-order
Confirmation of final guest numbers
If you are unable to attend, please let us know as early as possible.
5. Events
Event tickets may be non-refundable unless The Star Inn cancels an event.
Event times, performers and entertainment may occasionally change due to circumstances beyond our control.
6. Gift Cards
You can purchase gift cards online or in the pub.
Unless otherwise stated:
Gift cards cannot be exchanged for cash.
Lost or stolen cards cannot always be replaced.
Promotional gift cards may have separate expiry dates and conditions.
Treat gift cards like cash.
7. Click & Collect
When ordering Click & Collect:
You must collect orders during the selected collection window.
Customers are responsible for checking their order upon collection.
We reserve the right to substitute unavailable items where appropriate.
8. Deliveroo Orders
Orders placed through Deliveroo are subject to Deliveroo's own Terms & Conditions in addition to ours.
Deliveroo controls delivery times, delivery areas, and delivery charges.
Report any delivery issues through the Deliveroo platform first.
9. Accommodation
Room bookings may be subject to separate accommodation booking terms, including cancellation policies and check-in/check-out times. We will make every effort to honour your booking; however we reserve the right to cancel
We will provide these during the booking process.
10. Promotions & Offers
Unless stated otherwise:
Offers cannot be used in conjunction with any other promotion.
Promotions are subject to availability.
We reserve the right to amend or withdraw offers without notice.
11. Photography
From time to time, we may take photographs or videos during events for use on our website or social media.
If you would prefer not to appear in any promotional material, please let a member of our team know.
12. Liability
Whilst we take every reasonable care to provide accurate information and excellent service, The Star Inn cannot be held responsible for:
Temporary website interruptions.
Minor menu variations.
Circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
Nothing within these Terms excludes liability where it would be unlawful to do so.
13. Privacy
Your personal information is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable UK data protection legislation.
14. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. Any changes will take effect once published on this website.
